Ed Hyman and Bill Miller Part 1

Its always good to hear from Bill Miller, the guy who held the record for beating S&P500 for 15 years before lagging the market in the crisis.

  • 03:00: Hyman: Why partnering with the Fed is a free pass for the market to go up
  • 04:58: Miller: Why he thinks in 2013 he did so well
  • 06:34: Hyman: If there weren’t those concerns, the economy could get A LOT better
  • 08:30: Hyman: Thinks the market will do great, bonds not as attractive
  • 11:00: Miller: His take on the Fed, what happens at the tail end of 2014
  • 13:30: Hyman: He feels this seems like the 1990s
  • 15:40: Miller: What we hear investor say is not what they do, the money in bond funds is not going into equities yet, and bond funds have not shown losses yet
  • 20:20: Hyman: They are reading the signals and it seems that people are nervously thinking this time the recovery is really happening
  • 21:00: Hyman: The power of the second industrial revolution
  • 22:00: Hyman: Inflation is just non existent
