Hi Wanted to thank you for sharing generously all these years. have learnt ALOT from your thoughtful and informative articles. I was searching your website for articles on Accident Insurance but could not find info. Could I ask what your thoughts are on this type of insurance in Singapore? (as in if someone already has Term/Whole Life/ Hospitalisation and surgical insurance/Critical Illness/ Endowment plans---is this superfluous and a waste of SS ?) Enjoy your hiatus and please come back when you are re-charged:)

Hi Divy123, i take accidental insurance as something good to have. There are also overlaps in that if you are travelling overseas, or you have home insurance, there are protection against accidents in this vicinity.
Of course, if your job puts you in situations where you are more highly susceptible for accident triggers, then get one that meets the scope. Hope this helps and thanks a lot.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for all your sharing. Not many people can convince me that REITs can survive in an increasing interest rates environment. The recent run up in prices have definitely benefited you and me :)
Take care

hi blancfable, the recent run up coincides with the interest rate moderation downwards. The narrative is a rising rate environment and it seems in this cycle the REITs are very sensitive to interest rates. But perhaps if you notice Ascendas India, with a growth story in India, they seem to be defying these interest rate scares.
