The ship repair generates recurring revenue, and often at better margins. But in ship repair, you need fast turnaround time, which is not just dependent on they workforce but also on the ability to get spare parts quickly. And because a lot of work has to be outsourced, it is important that a location should have other workshops or yards in existence. Few countries around the world check all these boxes.
