I have a strange habit of keeping tracking of some of these data in a spreadsheet against my pay progression.
While updating the spreadsheet, I thought I would share it here for information sake.
The Public Services Division announced the mid term bonus for civil servant. The amount is lower than last year.
In the grand scheme of things, the ones in 2012 and 2013 fared worse. So this would make you guys who are affected by this feel a little better.

Hi Kyith, I had the exact same idea as you, wanted to benchmark my progression against the civil service. May I know where you got your data source from?

I think having extra bonus is always a good thing, unlike in private sector, nothing is for sure (including 13th month bonus).
So I think this mid year bonus is consider quite good already. Of course, the more the better.
