Do you guys faced any problems with it?

Hi,
Thanks for your great portfolio tracker! Is it possible to change the currency in the "Stock Summary"? I am using my USD stocks in the "Stock Summary USD", which works, but would like to use "Stock Summary" for Canadian $ stocks. When I tried this using the correct Yahoo format, the stocks would not update price.

Hi wjwolff56, you have to understand there is a relationship between 3 sheets:Stock Summary, Transactions and Yahoo Stock Ref. Stock Summary consolidates the transactions in Transactions and it gets its price updates from Yahoo Stock Ref. Your USD ones will have 3 sheets for USD portion.
Do note it seem toronto stock exchange is not supported. but yahoo updates the price. for a stock like Fairfax Financial the symbol to use is FFH.TO. you append a TO behind

Hi Craig, I don't think it is down. You should be able to reference it if you have a google account. I am currently not working on the excel version current sorry. Let me know if you have other problems.

Yes Drizzt, some of the symbol in your spreadsheet also doesn't have the hyperlink like mine. I believe these are the ones that are not updating.

Hi Drizzt,
I couldn't initially but now managed to copy the Stock Portfolio Tracker spreadsheet. After changing the stock symbols found from Yahoo Finance for my portfolio some of the symbols do not give any price update(blank) under the 'Yahoo Price' column. What could be the reason?

hi Pang, i am not sure if your problem is the same as mine but it can be that the symbol is not updating due to a bug. i will try to get hold of you to help you troubleshoot.

I had the same problem, then I realized I have to sign into Google before I can "duplicate" your spreadsheet, else only download is possible.
Maybe add this as part of the instruction in your guide. :)
